Boiové a Fergunna
The growing interest in reenactement leaded in 2004 to creation of the groups Boiové and Fergunna focussing on this matter. Both groups colaborate very closely in reconstruction of celtic life in 2nd and 3th century b.c. in Hercing forest.
Objective of groups is in colaboration with archaeologists to reconstruct civil life, handcrafts and military life of our predecesors - the Celts. Groups are colaborating not just with czech archaeologists but also with archaeological mission in Bobigny (France), where more than 500 tombs from celtic period were found. This colaboration is in theoretical and in practical level.
Some members of group fabricate copies of celtic arms and equipement for archaeologists in Bobigny. Boiové and Fergunna travel also to visit and participace on many festivals and cultural events in Europe. We have visited France, Germany and Slovakia many times. Our topic is to present the Celts from territory of present Czech Republic and also to get knowledge and experience about celtic culture in other countries.
Our mission is to reconstruct 2nd and 3 century B.C. celtic life
as lived in the Hercing Forest.
